| Bio: | Welcome to my journal, it is a mirror of my website at www.catholicsin.com. Since most of my online friends I met here, I still keep this journal active. This journal is a mix of friends only posts and public posts. If you would like to be added, please post, and I will check you out. I tend to try and get organized (but not nearly as well as my wife ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} heresyoftruth), this means occasionally I will rearrange my friends list, if you get dropped it usually is not personal, just let me know your still interested and I generally will reinstate without question.Personal Info I am a 36 year old married male (wife is heresyoftruth) and I have my own little website www.catholicsin.com, its a pathetic thing, mostly its where I post (automatically crossposts here), do movie/game/restuarant reviews, photo album, etc. It probably will give you a decent background on me. In addition I am a recently graduated tax accountant working for a mid-sized CPA firm. I hope to sit for the Washington State CPA exam in May.Like my wife did on her profile I will add a bit of a disclaimer. I am very porn positive, child free, pro-choice, raging liberal, pro monogamy, deist, pro-humor, anti-idiocy or illiteracy. I am the paragon of the "lost soul" tempted away by a little atheist girl. I can also be very "opinionated". I am especially very "socialist" in my outlook in life. I believe everyone deserves a minimum amount of medical care, food, and any other aid needed. Yes I am willing to pay out of my own money to do so as well (and I do it frequently for impoverished family members and strangers I meet). I have two large hobbies. The first is role-playing games. I have ran tabletop games for the last twenty years. We have done such games as D&D, Traveller, Gamma World, Shadowrun, World of Darkness, Mechwarrior, Robotech, and a dozen other incarnations. Our current set of games involves the GURPS system. I have ran many worlds now with that system (currently running a Shadowrun conversion game) and have found it to be a very flexible and useful system. My other favorite hobby is baking. I love baking cookies, cakes, pies, etc. However with the recent diagnosis my wife has of Celiac Disease, I have had to change my entire way of baking. I am now venturing out and learning gluten free recipes, since heresyoftruth is now allergic to wheat and other gluten bearing products. So far I have found I can do as good, if not better, GF baking then before, it just takes more testing. | |
